On Friday 22nd July a second chance Draw will occur from the pool of entries from April-May-June.  This is part of the permit requirements and all prizes will be claimed.  Good luck to all our customers.

Believe it or not, it's possible to be both productive at work and help the environment at the same time. Environmentally friendly (or eco-friendly) office products are the things your office needs, but they're also made from recyclable materials, which helps the environment. There are different types of office supplies made from recycled materials, refillable writing utensils, energy-efficient office equipment, and cleaning products made from natural ingredients. Products with sustainable materials but also designed to help you and your business get the daily things done. It makes the daily grind a bit friendlier to the environment.

Let's start with stationery - a staple of any office. After all, it does get used the most. Paper products can be very wasteful, but using paper made from recycled material is better for your office and for the environment. You can buy high-quality laser printer paper made from 100% post-consumer waste and produced sustainable electricity derived from renewable wind power. Therefore, not only does your office have quality printer paper guaranteed to work in virtually any printer, but the paper itself is made with very little overall impact on the environment. These environmentally friendly office products are also very affordable, making it a smart economic choice too.

Storage boxes are another thing used quite a bit around the office. In fact, it's not uncommon for other office supplies to be stored in them. You can buy storage boxes that are sturdy and strong, but are also made from 100% recycled fibres and post-consumer waste. They're just like any other storage boxes - in fact, they might be better than most boxes you'll find - but they're made from completely recycled materials. The fact that no extra materials went into making the environmentally friendly office products you use every day may not matter to most people, but the environmentally conscious among us will appreciate you for it.

Office supplies and stationery made from or with renewable resources are environmentally better to use than conventional supplies because no additional materials are used in making them. It saves energy by requiring less processing in order to make it; it saves trees by using less wood, and it causes less pollution by being manufactured with energy powered by sustainable electricity. Wind power is renewable, so consider buying environmentally friendly office products made in plants using wind power as an electrical source. They emit less of a carbon footprint and let the world breathe a little easier.

Everyone has a favourite, ... pen that is. There are the type that carry their favourite in their pocket. Some stash them in their purses. Others put them in briefcases or planners. They are kept by the dozens in desk drawers and marked so that would be criminals don't make off with them. You might as well admit it, you have a favourite pen. There is a wide selection of pens on the market today. They are available everywhere from the grocery store to office supplies stores. They are impacted by technology but the old standbys are irreplaceable. The days of quills, fountain, and ink wells are gone and old style pens are in the art category rather than everyday use category.

Office suppliers are by far the biggest distributors of pens. They have everything from ballpoint pens to the newest high tech pens. Pens are among the most needed of office supplies. Blue and black ink is the most used, but pens come in all colours. Large office supply stores are very cost effective when it comes to buying pens. They offer pens in bulk as well. A nice pen can run into several dollars for one pen. If you go to an office supply store the cost is usually less. You can buy them in packs of several pens and get an even better deal. Or you can buy bulk and get ultimate savings.

Office supplies offer pens in a wide range. You can get just about any pen you could want. Even specialty pens like calligraphy pens are available at large suppliers. Gift set pens and replaceable ink pens can also be found in office supply stores. In just one stop you can get everything you need including your favourite pen.
